Who has WeGift helped?

WeGift launched in early 2023 and we were pleased to have a good number of applicants. After careful consideration we were delighted to help not just one, but two charities. The New Normal, a peer-to-peer grief charity and Care Dogs, a local befriending charity.

Mycelium

The folk at The New Normal were really frustrated with an old and out of date website that they were finding difficult to update. They were keen to Have a new website that worked well on a mobile device and provided a much improved user journey. A key thing was easy access to their many wonderful grief meetings that support those are struggling with the loss of a loved one.

It was a real pleasure to support TNN and enable them to have a much more usable website that can grow with them as they expand their services.

The New Normal website

Two smartphones displaying information about meetings. The standing phone shows meeting statistics, including the number of meetings and attendance since May 2018, with a clickable link to a full impact document. The lying phone displays a webpage with a header titled 'OUR MEETINGS' and text underneath, partially visible.

Care Dogs Charity

A befriending charity with a difference, pairing up dog owners with older people to connect over a walk, increasing both general wellbeing and physical activity. The fabulous people at Care Dogs wanted an info graphic to help explain simply how their service works.

We were able to design and draw up some snazzy graphics to help support their amazing work.

Illustration of four diverse people and three dogs standing behind a banner that reads "careDogs" with a dachshund, a large gray dog, and a small white dog with green sunglasses and pink bandanas, set against a white background.
Four illustrated steps of a dog training and support process showing interactions between clients, volunteers, and dogs. The first step involves a client being contacted, the second shows a trainer with a dog, the third depicts a client ready for weekly meetings with a volunteer and dog, and the fourth displays a group of people and dogs involved in ongoing community support events.
